Land Rover Club Forum Matt who is a club member has established a forum hosted on another site where members can read and contribute to various discussions about Landies and the Club. The link is http://www.aulro.com/afvb/index.php When you get to the site the top panel is the title and banner ad, 2nd panel is navigation and third panel asks you to register. if you click on register, you are taken through a series of registration windows where you provide all relevant info. You will be asked to create a “username” which can be anything you want. You will then be emailed your login password. You can change this to something you will remember once you are in. Within the navigation panel at the 2nd from top of the home page, on the bottom row you will get an option “user CP”, this is where you alter and customise your profile, including your password. Once you have gained access to the forum, the LROCS forum will appear below the other club forums at the bottom of the home page. At this access level you will be able to see two of the six forums within our club section. If you open the “general chat” section, you will notice an “announcement” at the top of the page, open this! You will see Matt Barnes avatar (one of his dogs) and his online name (barney). if you click on “barney” a drop down box will appear where one of the options is “send private message to barney”, click on this. When the box comes up, put a subject in the first box e.g. “forum access” then type a message in the box below. The message that has to be sent is the user’s real name (full), membership number and online name. Matt then alerts the administrator of the site and he flags your username to access our forum.
