The LROC has many members currently restoring older Land Rovers. Predominantly Series 1, some series II , 111, 101’s and early Range Rovers. A wealth of knowledge is available through the members of the club.

Land Rover Owners Club is registered with the RTA as a club able to issue HISTORIC conditional registration. This allows restricted use of the vehicle on public roads.

The LROC runs an Historic Vehicle Historic Vehicle Registration Scheme for the use of vehicles on club trips.

To comply with the RTA guide lines for conditional Historic Vehicle registration the vehicle must be over 30 years old and be as close to original specification as possible.

A Safety inspection report (Pink Slip) is required and comprehensive insurance.

Owners must be financial members of the club.

For metropolitan areas annual fees are $38.00 plus $16 administration fee and a one off fee of $32 for the plates. These costs includes the green slip which is issued by QBE. Wollongong, Newcastle and Gosford are included in the metropolitan area.
