The Land Rover Owners Club (LROC) is one of Sydney's oldest and most respected four wheel drive clubs, being formed in 1966 by a group of enthusiasts that shared an interest in four wheel driving and the great outdoors. It is the only specialist Land Rover Club in NSW and caters for all models from Series I right through to the current Freelander, Defender, Discovery and Range Rover.

We welcome owners of other four wheel drive vehicles in our club - in fact, we have life members who don’t own Land Rovers.

Since its inception, the Club has promoted the use of a Four Wheel Driver's Code of Ethics - principles being promoted by the Australian National Four Wheel Drive Council (ANFWC) and the Tread Lightly! movement today.

Each month, the Club organises day, weekend and extended trips to satisfy various interests of the wide range of membership and cater for the novice through to the experienced driver.

Our members find that the Club training programmes including driver training courses, recovery techniques and First Aid improve their skills and confidence in many of the activities we undertake.

With the growing resurgence of the Land Rover marques and the popularity of four wheel drive touring, the club is adapting to the needs of the Land Rover owner of the 21st Century.

The club is a source of valuable information through the experiences of our members, links with the 4x4 movement and vehicle and equipment suppliers.
