About Us

The Land Rover Owners Club (LROC) was formed in 1966 by a group of enthusiasts who shared an interest in four wheel driving and the great outdoors. It caters for all models from Series I right through to the current Defender, Discovery, Discovery Sport, Evoque and Range Rover.

We welcome owners of other four wheel drive vehicles in our club - in fact, we have life members who don't own Land Rovers.

Since its inception the Club has promoted responsible four wheel driving as a legitimate recreational and family activity and we adhere to a code of ethics and principles endorsed by the Australian National Four Wheel Drive Council and Four Wheel Drive Victoria.

Each month, the Club organises day, weekend and extended trips to satisfy various interests of the wide range of membership and cater for the novice through to the experienced driver.

With the growing resurgence of the Land Rover marques and the popularity of four wheel drive touring, the club is adapting to the needs of the Land Rover owner of the 21st Century.

The club is a source of valuable information through the experiences of our members, links with the 4x4 movement and vehicle and equipment suppliers.
