Meet: 9am, Heatherbrae Pies, Cnr Pacific Hwy and Masonite Rd, Heatherbrae (Raymond Terrace roundabout).
Comment: This trip takes us through several State Forests and National Parkes over two days, through mixed open forest, rain forest, farmland and sea side. All while traversing highways, byways, a maze of often little used bush tracks, then finally finishing on the coast with a beach drive. A good knowledge of Convoy Procedure is essential! There’s plenty of steep hills, creek crossings, a ferry crossing and a sand driving thrown in for go measure. I doubt we’ll see any other vehicles while we’re there in the bush and if it has been dry, then it’ll be fairly plain sailing throughout. However, if it gets wet then it can get very interesting, very quickly! A unique trip and one not to miss, but space is limited so book early! Limit 8 vehicles, National Parks sticker is preferred.
