Kanangra Walls - Boyd River
Little Hartley to Mittagong via Kanangra Walls and Wombeyan Caves
The trip commences in the carpark of the Lolly Bug at Little Hartley (9:00am sharp) on the Great Western Highway 6km west of Mt Victoria.
We will travel via the Six Foot Track up to Gibraltar Lookout and then round Jenolan Caves to the Kanangra Walls Lookout and finally to camp at the Boyd River Camping Ground.
This is in the National Park and will require a booking. See link below.

On the second day we traverse Kanangra-Boyd National Park and then descend down to the Wingecarribee River finishing at Mittagong on the Sunday afternoon.
There are a couple of steep descents that require the weather to be reasonably dry for a least a week prior to the trip. If it does rain the NPWS close the track, so final confirmation for attendees on the trip will be on Thursday 21st via email.
Please book your campsite ($6.00) and be aware that there is a solid fuel fire ban so cooking must be undertaken on gas stoves only.
The trip is very scenic with a some steep descents and a couple of climbs but nothing too taxing. There are several river crossings but none that require snorkels.
Places are limited so register quickly!
For those who are interested we will be returning to Lithgow on the Sunday / Monday and doing some exploring if anyone wants another night/day in the bush.
